The Keys to a New Life

Thousands of people try to find the key that will unlock the door to a new, fulfilling life.  Many have tried the keys of pleasure, popularity, and possessions, but all have failed.

God loves you, and has provided a wonderful plan that will give your life meaning.  Put your confidence fully in Christ and trust Him to save you.

Here are the keys of faith that will unlock the door to a new life today.

Note what the Bible says:

Key 1

God loves you!

  • "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ." (John 3:16)
  • "...I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.." (John 10:10)

Why is it that most people don't experience this love and enjoy a fulfilling life?  Because --

Key 2

Man is a sinner separated from God, therefore he cannot know and experience new life in God's love.  All men are sinners.

  • "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23)

Because man is a sinner, his sins have earned him wages.

  • "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Note the second part of this verse!  Jesus Christ is that gift and God sent Him to pay the debt for your sins, providing you forgiveness and eternal life.

  • "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
  • "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (1 Corinthians 5:21)

Now, for these truths to be real to you personally, you must apply them.

Key 3

  • "But unless you repent, you too will all perish." (Luke 13:3)

To repent is to have sorrow in your heart for your sins and be willing to turn from sin to Christ.

  • "...if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10:9, 10)

To believe is to trust Christ completely to save you.

  • "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

To receive means to allow Christ to come freely into your heart.

Here is your personal invitation:

Key 4

  • "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20)

Christ is standing at your heart's door right now!  Will you ask Him to come in?

Pray in your own words.  God knows and understands your heart.  Simply confess that you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your heart.

The Bible promises that "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
