GULLETTS TO BELIZE

The Plum Grove Baptist Church is a proud supporter of Ed and Jamilaih Gullett, missionaries to Belize.

Tuscaloosa Tornado Relief Mission

Our church participated in a relief mission to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the spring of 2011 after a tornado destroyed part of the city and outlying areas.  We were blessed to work with the Hargrove Memorial United Methodist Church.  We collected and distributed personal items, baby items, clothing, cleaning supplies, water, and food.  We were able to cleanup a residential site, and to visit with and pray with several residents, providing them with gift cards from Walmart and Home Depot.

NORTHEASTERN KENTUCKY TORNADO RELIEF MISSION

Our church has decided to collect supplies and make several trips to assist the people in West Liberty, Frenchburg, and surrounding communities in Kentucky, that had their town destroyed by a tornado recently.

If you would like to donate or volunteer, please contact Dawn Rose at sanddrose@earthlink.net.

We are looking for water, non-perishable food, clothing, personal items, and toys. Please keep the people of these communities in your prayers.  More information to come.

Phase one:  Cleanup mission to Frenchburg in Menifee County.  Volunteers need to bring their own rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and work gloves.  We will leave the church at 8 am on Saturday, March 10 and meet up with the Zoar Baptist Church from Coal Grove, Ohio. COMPLETED MARCH 10, 2012.

Phase two:  Cleanup mission to Buchanan in Lawrence County and West Liberty in Morgan County. Volunteers need to bring their own rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and work gloves.
