For God so loved the world that sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1/29/2012 Songfest Sundays
When it so happens that there is a fifth Sunday in a month, as there is in the month of January this year, we will schedule a Songfest Sunday.  Special singers will be scheduled for both morning and evening services.  We begin Songfest Sunday on January 29, featuring Crimson River in the morning service and Nancy Banfield in the evening service.  Everyone is invited to participate!  Tell everyone you know!

1/21/2012 Annual Chili Cook Off and Dinner

There was lots of fun, fellowship, and great food at our Annual Chili Cook Off and Dinner, which took place Saturday, January 21!  The event is a fundraiser for our Willing Hearts Ladies Group.  Over 40 people were in attendance, and enjoyed chili, mexican cornbread, desserts, and a drink.  Chili was made by Marissa McGraw, Julie McGraw, Phil Diamond, Noah Blevins, Corie Remy, and Heather Rose.  Here are the results:  3rd Place - Heather Rose; 2nd Place - Marissa McGraw; 1st Place - Julie McGraw; and the People's Choice Award - Noah Blevins.  Congratulations to all our winners and a special thank you to all who participated.

1/1/2012 Celebration Sundays
Beginning Sunday, January 1, the first Sunday of every month will be Celebration Sunday.  Both morning and evening services will feature contemporary praise and worship music.  The order of the service will change for these services, and our first try at this featured Breaking Daylight performing and Billy Logan preaching at our morning service.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
